Why when ac is turned on motor is off and nothing blowing from vents

Is the outside unit running? If it is you either have a blower relay out or your inside fan motor is bad. If the outside is not running you turn on the fan on the thermostat to ON not auto to see if the fan motor comes on.

AC unit wont work, inside coils are hissing but outside unit not turning on.

If thisnis a central air conditioner and there is hissing at the indoor coil then the compressor is running, it is possible that both fans are not running. The indoor motor may not run if the control board is bad, capacitor is bad or the motor itself is bad. The outdoor fan may have a bad capacitor or the motor itself is bad

Ac fan speed

Replace the blower motor resister, this is the speeds for the blower motor,it is located very near the blower motor, and is mounted on the blower box,and it actually goes inside the box,to keep it cool. The reason for it`s failure is the blower motor, even though the blower motor sounds, and runs good,it is drawing too many amps.If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Sometimes, when the inside blower shuts down, the outside compressor and fan motor continue to run for some time. Other times, when the inside fan motor is running, the outside fan and compressor motors...

The thermostat has a timer on the on- cycle (5 min delay for the outside unit and blower inside) if you are not gonna call a service guy then ( for $25) you can go to homedepot (whatever you got out there) and buy a honeywell vertical digital heat and ac t'stat.
this one doesnt require you to set it up for a particular application. this may solve your problem. but as for warm air out of the registers you need a service guy to check that

Ac fan won't turn off. Even when the engine is off and keys are removed.

this problem is caused by a shorted blower motor speed control modual/resistor, it is located next to the blower motor in the air ducting replace it.

When is the fan outside suppose to stop? mine stops all of a sudden and doesnt come back on for hours ...why?

In general the fan outside should match the blower inside of when it is on or off(give or take a minute or so).

If your fan outside is stopping while your blower inside is still going, then the fan motor(outside) might be going out.

71122 ac model starts but the fan does not blow any air .shuts off within seconds.

which fan shuts down? Outside condensor fan? Or blower inside? If its the outside condensor fan motor you probably have a bad run capacitor or a bad condensor fan motor
