Sorry no its a big job but here goes isolate from electric and power remove lid and rear bottom cover.
remove soap drawer and remove screws you can see behind it then remove fascia, then undo the door seal and plinth cover ,then remove front panel.
then remove dispensor hose from tub, go to the back remove sump hose and motor and wiring to element then remove top front sub frame and undo the top and bottom weights then remove the pins that hold the suspension legs to the tub lift off the springs and the tub is free.
Then split the tub knock out the old replace with new that is assuming you dont damage the shaft of the drum support whilst removing il then do it all in reverse this normally takes me 2 hours it might take you 2 days but hey lifes full of challenges good luck

Yes, Undo the 32mm nut, first. And, don't get the bearings dirty with dust from the brake drums, or , if you do, replace the inner and outer bearings with new greased up ones.prev.gif next.gif REAR DRUM BRAKES Brake Drums REMOVAL & INSTALLATION CAUTION
Brake linings contain asbestos. Asbestos is a known cancer-causing agent. When working on brakes, remember that the dust which accumulates on the brake parts and/or in the drum contains asbestos. Always wear a protective face covering, such as a painter's mask, when working on the brakes. NEVER blow the dust from the brakes or drum.
  1. Raise the vehicle and support safely.
  2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  3. On vehicles without rear bearing hub, remove the dust cap, cotter pin, nut lock, wheel bearing nut and washer from the spindle. Remove the outer wheel bearing. Remove the drum with the inner wheel bearing from the spindle. If the drum is difficult to remove, remove the plug from the rear of the backing plate and push the self adjuster lever away from the star wheel. Rotate the star wheel to retract the shoes. Remove the grease seal.
  4. If equipped with a rear bearing hub, remove the drum by removing the retainer screws from the drum and pulling the drum from the hub assembly. If the drum is difficult to remove, remove the plug from the rear of the backing plate and push the self adjuster lever away from the star wheel. Rotate the star wheel to retract the shoes. To install:
  5. On vehicles equipped without rear bearing hub, lubricate and install the inner wheel bearing. Install a new grease seal. Install the drum to the spindle. Lubricate and install the outer wheel bearing, washer and nut. Adjust the bearing preload following the procedure outlined in the "Rear Wheel Bearing'' of this section. When the bearing preload is properly set, install the nut lock and a new cotter pin. Install the grease cap.
  6. On vehicles with rear bearing hub, install the brake drum to the hub assembly and install the retaining screws.

Drum is not turning

Could be the brushes, only way to prove it is to remove the motor and check the brushes for wear.
If they are less than 3 or 4 mm long, then they need replacing. If brushes are o/k, then it is probably a control board fault.

My machine hotpoint WMA54 takes the water but the drum does not turn, what could be the problem? thanks

Could be motor brushes in need of replacement.
To check them, remove lower rear cover of washer.
Unplug motor and remove earth wire, remove drive belt.
Undo 2 screws securing motor to drum, and lever motor off
the mounts
Replace brushes if less than 3 or 4 mm long.
If brushes o/k, then could be control board problem.
Check all connections between module and motor.
Please rate my solutioin.
Thankyou..

Locating the filter on the Hotpoint WMA54 front load washer

To check and clean the filter, you need to remove the lower rear panel of washer.
Locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for obstruction or blockage here and in the pump as well.
Hope this helps to solve your question.
Please leave feedback.
Thanks.

Hotpoint Aquarius WMA54 very noisy during spin

Hi, if your H/P is noisy on the spin cycle, just open the door and turn the drum a few times. If you feel some play, or kind of loud huming noise, then it is the bearings, very, very common on H/P WMA's.

Hotpoint wma54 washing machine

sorry but not the job i would recommend to anyone not done or watched it done before its about the most difficult job to do on any machine, even though in my 20 years experience this is the easiest machine to do a drum bearing change on, most of the machine has to be stripped down, removing all the front panel / timer panel / door seal and drum front / drifting out the old bearings fitting the new ones and rebuilding the machine, not counting testing for and rectifying any damage the drum has done to the rest of the machine and surrounding parts, good luck if you attempt it, sorry
