E2 error codes shows on my Pro Form 730 si treadmill

E2 code shows as soon as I start to increase speed and the belt will not move at all. Was working last week. The speed sensor light will go on for a few minutes but as soon as E2 error code shows the light goes out. No loose wires or anything. What could be the problem. Someone suggested calibrating the speed but I don't know how to do that. Please help!

Why does blinking light come on and vacuum shuts off

If this is happening right after you turn the vacuum on, you probably have a belt issue or a brush roller issue. I would start with checking your brush roller to see if it spins freely. If it spins real freely, your belt is probably broken. If it spins freely but with some resistance, you still might need to replace the belt. I just worked on one last week that had that problem and a new belt fixed it. Worse case scenario, you might have a bad sensor. That sensor looks for the brush to spin at a certain speed and if it does not sense the right speed, it shuts the vacuum down and the light flashes. Hope this helps!

Belt stopped and showed message ERR22

Precor Error Code 22 Error Code: 22 Manufacturer: Precor
Model: All Models
Error Description: Error 22, No Motor Pulses at Start Up - Error indicates that the display has sent a command for the drive motor to start, however, the speed sensor has not returned the signal acknowledging that the drive motor has started. Possible Reason:
  1. The line of sight between the speed sensor and the speed sensor target is obstructed.
  2. Badly worn drive motor brushes.
  3. Incorrect gap between the speed sensor and the speed sensor target.
  4. Incorrect adjustment of the speed sensor potentiometer (when equipped).
  5. Inoperative speed sensor.
  6. Faulty lower PCA.
  7. Faulty interconnect cable between upper and lower PCA.
  8. Faulty upper PCA.
Recommended Action:
  1. Using a static safe vacuum cleaner, carefully vacuum out the drive motor compartment. Be sure to thoroughly clean the area between the speed sensor and the speed sensor target.
  2. Bady worn drive motor brushes cannot make proper contact with the motor commutator, therefore the drive motor will not start when voltage is applied. Inspect and replace drive motor brushes if necessary.
  3. Inspect the gap of the speed sensor to the speed sensor target. Proper gap is 3/16" and the speed sensor photo eye should be aimed at the larger portion of the targets wedge shaped section. If unit has a magnetic speed sensor, the gap between the end of the sensor and the flywheel tooth needs to be 3/16".
  4. Locate the speed sensor potentiometer (when equipped) on the lower PCA. Set the speed sensor potentiometer to mid-range. Start the treadmill and increase speed to 6 mph. Carefully adjust the speed sensor potentiometer until the treadmill is operating the smoothest. Increase the speed to full speed and again adjust the speed sensor potentiometer until the treadmill is operating the smoothest. These two adjustments are typically small and are generally only a matter of fine tuning.
  5. An inoperative speed sensor will allow the drive motor to start and run briefly before the error appears. If able to access the speed sensor wiring, measure the DC voltage between the speed sensor leads. Two of the leads will always read about 5 VDC. Two will toggle between 0 and 5 VDC as you slowly turn the speed sensor target. If both measurements are not seen, the speed sensor needs replaced. Some units have the speed sensor mounted on the lower PCA and the lower PCA needs replaced.
  6. Determine if the lower PCA is bad by swapping with a known good lower PCA.
  7. Determine if the interconnect cable is bad by swapping with a know good cable.
  8. Determine if the upper PCA is bad by swapping with a know good upper PCA.

Error 2 in Goldstar MTD 602 treadmill

1) Adjust the speed sensor 2) Tight very well the connection from speed sensor. 3) Faulty Sensor speed 4) Faulty Main Motor measure for 115 VAC without load. 5) Main motor board faulty , test for 115 VAC,and oupput for +5Vdc. 6) See the transformer for 115 VAC,for primary voltage and secondary voltage. 7) See if some component such: resistors, capacitor, diode, or IC burn. 8) Lubricate the deck belt. 9) Adjust the tension for deck belt for lift 2-3" max. 10)error code e1 vs e2 in some mark is equal is different from some manufacturer.

I have Nissan Altima 2001 running 93500 K. since last a week service engine soon light on and showing P0141 & 0325 codes. What is the fix for P0141 and P0325 error codes.

p0325 = bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor p0141 = knock sensor
if it were me you could watch the sensor on a scanner to see if working properly but without a scanner i'd replace the oxygen sensor bank 1 = passenger side
sensor 2 is sensor behind the catalictic converter screwed in

good luck

The belt on my 68600F EverYoung has quit turning. The display screen is still on and says E2.What does that mean?

e2 normally refers to error in the speed sensor - iff the treadmill starts moving and then stops it is speed sensor related, otherwise if it never starts at all you will need to test your drive motor with an external 18v battery (cordless drill battery) to see if the motor will still turn. if it still turns then that narrows the problem to the motor controller which also means that the motor relays are not working and the controller would need replaced

E2 Code on Treadmill after starting

This is a speed sensor error. Unplug the unit then remove the motor shroud locate the power board with LED lights plug in unit locate the 5v DC if this is on then replace the speed sensor. The sensor is located on the frame by the front roller pulley or on the Drive Motor itself. Code e2 appears on display screen

E21or E2 1 means the treadmill is not picking up a speed signal once the start key is pressed. First, determine if the motor is turning before you get the E2 1 or not. If the motor turns, the speed sensor is the most likely problem. If it does not, you can manually turn the belt with your feet before you get the E2 1 and you should get a speed reading but eventually you will get an error code because it is almost impossible to keep the speed constant enough for the computer. Try running it through calibration with the motor cover removed. their is Tech sheet under the hood and it will explain how to do the calibration

Landice won't start, it gives a L 5 error. I already replaced both chip boards. but the light on the board closest to the motor does not come on! Not sure if I got a faulty board? Is there any information...

LS Error on Landice L-Series Treadmills with Belt Movement Probable Cause A LS error on the Landice L-Series treadmills can also look like L5 and this error code means there is a loss of speed signal. This error can occur with belt movement but speed will not increase. Causes for the LS or L5 error with belt movement are:A) Speed sensor is out of adjustment
B) Speed sensor is damaged or faulty
C) Display cable is damaged or faulty
D) Improper speed control wiring Corrective Action A) Speed sensor should sit parallel with the flywheel and gap between speed sensor and flywheel should be within 1/16". Adjust speed sensor if necessary.
B) Inspect speed sensor connector to relay board. Check for pushed pins or loose wires. Repair or replace speed sensor assembly if necessary.
C) Inspect upper harness or display cable connector to relay board. Check for pushed pins or loose wires, giving specific attention to pin 5 (brown) and pin 9 (green). Repair or replace display cable if necessary.
D) Inspect speed control wiring:
  1. Checking purple wire from V+ on pwm board to P3 on the relay board
  2. Checking orange wire from P1 on pwm board to P1 on the relay board
  3. Checking brown wire from P2 on pwm board to P2 on the relay board
  4. Confirm P3 on pmw board has no connection
Correct speed control wiring if necessary.
