Hello !
You didn't indicate if you are just experiencing a problem with Faxing, not with printing.
Typically, an alarm LED flashes and lights up green to signal paper jams or improperly
installed ink cartridges. But, that would happen if the problem is more than printing, of course.
So, please let me know if your problem is just in Faxing. If not just Faxing, removing a jam or reinserting the cartridges could resolve your problem.
Sounds like the Waste Ink is full. A waste ink absorber is a pad that soaks up waste ink. An absorber can only hold a
certain amount of ink. Ttoo much ink leads to spillage.
Give this a try:
This reset should be used once waste ink counter reaches full and lock-out
occurs.

The alarm doesn't flash green. It flashes orange. Also since we have the fax problem, the printer won't do straight printing. The copy light stays steady, but the Fax light flashes on and off. Does this help?
I am going to try it, Nina, (my daughter's name) and then I will let you know.
