I GOT THE LG G880 MINI AND I DO HAVE SFR (FRENCH USIM) WITH UNLIMITED ACCESS TO INTERNET, MAILS, SMS. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SET THE INTERNET PROFILE AS SFR TOLD ME TO DO BUR+T APARENTLY I NEED TO ADD YOU...

Hi, it seems this thread has been here for several days. Yes we can manually setup the internet connection, but we need to know all the information about the connection for that particular service provider, in your case USIM. Things you need to know are, the Packet Bearer, packet type. Some service providers use their specific IP address so as to enable the connection and activate it. There are more to manually configure on your profile (connection profile) and most users don't know the details which is not to be assumed, but to be specific.

In fact, every service provider has a default settings for their customers which when requested send the settings as Service Message and activated/setup the connection automatically. This is the only best way to activate the internet service on mobile handsets.

I would suggest you to call the customer care of your service provider, they will ask you few queries regarding the sim information and the details about the phone, i.e. Make and Model. They will help/assist you set up if the default settings is not possible for the model or they will send you the default settings as Service Message, once when you open the message, it'll automatically activat on your mobile and will be able to access the connection.

I can't give you the specific solution since the settings and the details varies with areas and service provider.

All the best.

Thanks for using FixYa.
