Hi,
Probably not providing the block connectors are the same.

Make sure you have your memory seated properly and also clear the CMOS if you have the option. If you don't remove the power supply to the motherboard and take out the CMOS battery for an hour.

While you are waiting take a close look at the caps that you replaced to make sure the are the right way round, use the other motherboard as a guide.

Good luck.

TV went bang now no power

The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the TV, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. Reassemble and test by turning it on. Search for YouTube video on howto replace capacitors.

Replaced 3 capacitors for start up issue, now have radom with vertical lines

You will need to replace all the capacitors in the output side of the power supply. It is possible you have other bad capacitors that are not bulging at the tops. The power supply generates a voltage used by the the video processor on the main board. If this voltage is out of whack, it can affect your video. I would recommend you check all power supply voltages for accuracy and ripple.

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

Won't Boot

Take a look at the capacitors on your motherboard. If any of them seem to be bulging on the top then you probably do need to replace the motherboard or the capacitors themselves.

Could also be your power supply failing. Even with a surge protector things do wear out.
