Estate Dryer eed4300tqr the dryer does not heat at all during it 's heating cycle and how do I repair it.


This is the most common locations for thermal fuses and heating element on Whirlpool,Kenmore,Estate dryers. seth765.jpgseth765_0.jpg
check the continuity on all these thermal fuse and the element replace the one that has no continuty

Will not dry but heating wire come on for about 15 seconds than goes off

You do not remove the unit to test it, you test it from the top control area.

clean out the exhaust vent tubes thoroughly. the moister sensor will shut down the high heat if clogged full of lint

New heating element not working


You should check to see if the "high limit switch is burned out. Some models/Brands have 2. It should be on the outside casing of the heating element.
