Downloading software I lost my cd to load on my computer to download music from my cpu, is there software online i can download to remedy this problem.

You'll need to purchase music from an online site such as Itunes. You will also need a blank CDR. Once your music is loaded into Itunes it is as simple as clicking the burn to cd icon.
You will need to first load the program for down loadding to the ipod. usually the cd comes along with the device, if not try and get the free download from the philips site. the compression required for the mp3 is required for downloading. I hope you could get this helpful
the iRiver 700 Series Players use a software package called iRiver Music Manager for loading music.

You can also find firmware upgrade software there.
Just go to www.iriver.com then click on support, then downloads and then from the drop down lists select Software&Driver, and All Product. Then download the file iriver Music Manager Ver. 3.21
You should just download a copy of iTunes from apple.com for your operating system and then install it. Then you just plug your shuffle in and follow the instructions.
