You can try it this way

  1. Go to the start screen by selecting the mcestart.png button within Windows Media Center.
  2. Scroll to Online Media, then click on Program Library.
  3. Click on Music and Radio, and then continue to click on More Music and Radio to see a list of radio stations available.
  4. Click on the station you want to listen to, and it’ll begin streaming through your Windows Media Center display.
or you can try this
  1. Go to startmenu.png Start, All Programs, then click on Windows Media Center.
  2. Select Music, then scroll across to Radio then click on it.
  3. If you know the number for the station, enter it into your keypad then press Enter.
  4. If you don’t know the number for the station, select the + and - under Seek and Tune to find your station.

Help needed !!! opened Windown media center earlier today, and now even with all applications shut down, the file wmpnetwk.exe is constantly using ~ 50% of my CPU. I Have ended the process with task...

Wmpnetwk.exe is a media player network sharing service. It is annoying and useless(as you have already noticed).
Click start->Run->Type in "services.msc"(without the quotes). Then click on the services tab, and uncheck the box next to wmpnetwk.exe. Click apply, close the configuration utility and reboot your computer. If you ever want to start the media sharing service again you can start it from windows media player.

Hope this helps,

Media player 11 is part of Vista,It is installed with vista and cannot be installed without reinstalling vista,You don't need to validate media player, you only need to validate vista,That can only be done through Microsoft.

Downloading using vista

I've found a couple of solutions, some might not be exactly what your looking for. EDIT: Soultion #2 should be your answer...

Solution #1 - Change the Documents Folder Template
  1. Click the 'Start' pearl (button)
  2. Under your name and icon, you should see the 'Documents' option.
  3. Right click 'Documents' and then select properties.
  4. The window should pop up and read 'Documents Properties'
  5. Click the 'Customize' Tab
******* Soultion #2
  1. Go into your documents folder.
  2. Off to the left side you should see the 'folders' section
  3. Under 'Desktop' you should see the folder with the windows account username. Go into that folder.
  4. Under the the folder you should see all of the default Vista folders, EX: Contacts, Deskop, Documents, etc.
  5. You can right click each folder and select properties, then under the 'Location' tab you can select the location of all of the files, and such where you want them to be.
Hopefully this helps you out, my directions could have been a bit rough if you have any problems please reply to the post!

Explorer problem

I suggest to restore the settings of your internet explorer to defaults. There could be bugs during your windows update.

1. Open internet explorer, go to tool --> Internet Options ---> Advanced tab ---> Reset.

Reset all the settings then restart your computer. In case you cannot open internet explorer because it will just give you a white blank page. try the following steps below.

1.1a Click Start -- type msconfig on start search box (for vista only). Click Run (for xp only). a pop up box window will show up (System utility configuration). Look for the tab Services.

Under services tab, put a check on the box that says "Hide all microsoft services" at the very bottom screen. Click apply then close. Restart the computer.

After restarting the computer follow step 1.

Keep me posted

In Vista Home Premium, Taskbar, there is no restore windows to original configuration.

So, basically you want all of your windows to come up at once, but in the location with the size you opened them in?

First, you'd have to open Tools->Folder options (speaking from an XP standpoint; I can't remember the Vista menuing), then click the View tab, and check the boxes for "Remember each folder's view settings" and "Restore previous folder windows at logon". Click apply to all folders, then when you reopen everything, you can press Windows+D to show the desktop then press it again to restore everything.  There is no right-click option for what you're trying to do, but what I'm suggesting is the closest thing to it.
