The horizontal line indicates failure of vertical section, checkout the output capacitor of vertical-section connecting to the yoke (vertical) for any loose contact, dry solder, capacitor wear-out.
Need to check the register and filter capacitor that powers the vertical-section.

Sounds like power supply regulator board fault. Check all the electrolytic capacitors for any leaked or bulged one. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Do asearch by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis.

Hi, Two sets of lines have appeared on the screen

are these lines vetical or horz if they are vertical your panel has failed and will need to be replaced big bucks if they are horz , then it could just be the T-con board and you will need a tech to confirm this I have seen this problem cause by a poorly seated connection

Kp-fs57 blue screen then turns off

Could be one of three things the yokes, the flyback transformer or the picture tubes, all will be a costly repair. If it was mine I would invest the money in a new one.

My rear projection tv has squiggly horizontal lines in the picture. Sometimes when I turn it off and then turn it back on it goes back to normal but it is steadily getting worse. Any suggestions would be...

I have seen this on quite a few Mits's as they are getting to that age. This is usually related to bad caps in the signal path. I could go into more detail if I knew the exact Model Number (it will start with WS or VS) Example VS-60609. But the caps are usually near the 5v regulators.

RCA TV 32V434T transformer?

When the HVT goes out, it will take the HORZ output, in short, you will hear a high pitch noise for a sec, when pluged in. As to your question, Its not a hard repair, however its not what I would call a begainer repair. This is what make the high voltage (about 32,000 volts) for you set to work. If you DO try it, becareful. And don't forget to change Horz output p# 274762. After changing the parts, unit will not run for more then 10 seconds. You have to use a volt meter and set the G2 for 290v, with no signal and blue screen. + or - 5 volts will cause unit to shut off.

Sony TV not working

This is not an easy fix for most people! I suspect the ps is blown, R607, Q601,Q602 (use all org Sony parts, lots of factory 2nds around). This stuff blows to protect the fuse!!!!! Very rarely the input bridge rectifier or filter cap short.
Check R622, if open or discolored also replace VDR601(doesn't go bad very often). Check Horz output Q502. Inspect whole board for any bad connections, all parts with heat sinks(regulator ICs). Horz driver transformer, 0.47uf to horz driver tr. There could be other parts bad (flyback??). Make sure no supplies are shorted, check audio output supply, vert output supply, etc. Easily $150 repair at a shop. Good luck!
