Question about KitchenAid KBMC140H Convection Microwave Oven
KitchenAid KBMC140H Started beeping in the middle of the night on its own, it chirps a few times then stops for a few minutes then does it again...cycling the power does not help ...none of the controls work cannot use unit at all...the clock still works...interior light comes on
Hi. this is a simple control fault. The eoc or electronic oven control board has a built in warning system that will by-pass the error code functions if the logic circuits become seriously damaged. this will cause the board to sounds several beeps, that will signal the fault at hand. A power surge during a brief outage during sleeping hours will usually cause this type of damage.
Simply replacing the control board will fix this issue.
