Question about Epson Stylus Photo RX700 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I´m here in Spain and the technician who looked at my Epson Stylus Photo 2200 said the circuit board that provides the current got fried. I plugged the printer in directly to the 220 v outlet here instead of using the transformer. He said this circuit board isn´t available in Spain, and if I can get from the States, he could put it in. The printer model is B141A. The circuit board part is Model EPS-71. There´s another number that says C387 PSB. I could send you a digital photo of the circuit board. Is this part available? How much is it. I want to know if the printer is worth fixing. I would want the same part for use in the States, not one especially adapted for 220 v. Shipping could be to my daughters address in Minneapolis.
Buy a new/refurbished printer from Epson.com. They are cheap, come with a 1 year exchange warranty and do great prints. Prices for All In Ones start at $36USD, the ink costs more. I check Epson's voltage and I only found 115V AC, so you must use a transformer. I would also get a CISS and Waste Ink Container at the following: http://www.inkproducts.com/ink-store/
Saves tons of money and never change or buy another cartridge.
