Here is a link to the manual http://www.giantintl.com/ContentManage/manuals/Moto/T9500%20FINAL%20-%20English%20only%20all%20rights%20reserved%20and%20call%20center%20email%2004-24-07.pdf

Check your frequency, interference eliminator code and Qt filter to see that they are all set identical on all the radios. Also, in the case of cutting out before a transmission, this can be a sign of a bad battery. It takes more energy to transmit than receive, so you will see failure on the transmit side first. Try a known-good battery to see if it solves the problem.

Left channel cuts out, if i tap the reciever it will come back on.

sounds like the controls are dirty...or possibly the solder connection on the volume control has become intermittant...you can goto your local electronics store(or Radio Shack) and get some contact cleaner..open the unit up and clean the volume control as per the instructions on the can...make sure when you spray the cleaner into the control you turn it back and forth several times...then you want to spray more in to flush out whatever debris may have been in there...be careful not to get any on the face plate as it may damage the finish...also , make sure that the chemical spray that you use is safe for plastics...If this doesn't fix it , then the volume control assembly may need to be resoldered.

Picture/audio problems on my HDTV

This is a cable box problem. Could be a lack of signal stregnth or bad HDMI output.

The SA boxes have a very bad history of this, try using the component video output and see if the problem persists.

The HDMI is a real glass jaw of those boxes; but this problem could absolutly be your incoming signal...high def channels require more signal strength and that is what causes audio drops, pixilation and flicker.

If it was the HDMI in the receiver/tv you would get:

- Black screen, Pink fuzz or green streak dropouts.
- "Fireflies"
- Audio cutting in and out
- Not pixilation!

So what is my approach? If the box is rented or under warranty get it replaced. If the problem persists then call your cable company and arrange a service call at their expense.

If the box is not under warrenty go ahead and call the cable company and complain about a poor signal. If the signal is good, use the component video output...it looks almost identical anyway.

Let me know if this helps,

Cheers!

Sennheiser em100 g2 receiver passes major static to mixer

This is a well known problem with the EW100 series that is easily solved.
You will need to run this reciever into a line input via a mono(TS) jack to jack lead. this will bypass the phantom power.
Make sure that you set the AV OUT to +18 in the reciever menu to get optimum level.
Phantom power is only present in the microphone inputs XLR3.
Hope this helps.

I'm getting cable channels but no high def

Your TiVo is only recording basic cable (i.e., channels it can receive without a cable box). You will need a digital cable box from your cable company to record channels above 99. If your TiVo is a Series 2 you will not be able to actually record in HD either. You should be able to record the HD channels from the cable box, but they will not be HD quality. (This is my current setup and while the picture quality is much better than basic cable, it pales compared to bypassing the TiVo and watching HD directly off the cable box to the TV.)

Sony STR-DE945 5.1 Channels Receiver

Hi, Happened across this forum looking for some remote info. Had a similar problem with my 945...main speaker outputs started to click off & on, no rhyme or reason. Found that the solder joints on the speaker output relays were cold (poor soldering). Actually happend twice, two different relays. Took me a while to find it, reflowed the solder, that solved the problem, over two years ago now. Are you able to dig into the receiver? Do you have a (good) soldering iron and some solder? If not take it to elec. shop and tell them to look for cold joints on the relays.
