Konica Minolta Magicolor 5550 Ink Replacement Error

I have Konica Minolta Magicolor 5550 which says it requires a new K (black ink) toner unit. When i replace it the screen still says it needs a new one even though the levels on that same screen show as full. I've tried rebooting. is their anything else that will work?

SOURCE: Konica Minolta Magicolor 2300 DL - Fatal Error Code 0EH ????

I had the same problem one time, they told me to pull out all of the toner cartriges, power off, power on, power off, replace all cartridges and the problem went away.

Who knows why. If this doesn't work....

Call Konica Minolta tech support.

They were pretty helpful to me.

Open the top cover. Remove the drum (part with long green handle). Below the drum you will see a strip of glass about 4-5 inches long. Take a cloth and wipe across the glass.

This will normally clear up any white lines in your print.

SOURCE: Konica Minolta Magicolor 4690MF gives 0502 error.

The fuser temperature is too high. There is probably some residue from the transparency left on the thermister or the thermister went faulty that causes a wrong reading. The only solution would be to have the printer serviced.

Basically -no. If you could get a reset chip for it, you could probably carry on using the original drum for some time. For example http://www.tonerstop.com.au/konica-minolta-bizhub-c353-bundled-set-of-4-compatible-drum-chips

Lift drum out, look down behind toner and you will see a glass lens.
Clean it with a soft cloth or tissue. Works every time.

I have an error message on my magicolor 2550 ( Konica minolta) that says Replace K toner??

The K toner is the black toner. The K stands for "Key" as in primary toner.

Pages 80-107 list the toner part number that you will need to order as well as how to remove the old and install the new toner.

Poor print quality

The "ghost" image is "burned" onto the drum.

A laser printer is supposed to charge specific "dots" on the drum, and the toner-ink is supposed to stick only to those "dots", the paper is pressed against the drum, and then the "fuser" uses heat to "melt" the toner-ink onto the paper, to produce the printed page.

You need to replace the drum.

THE KONICA MINOLTA MAGICOLOR 2530DL/ ALL FOUR COLORS OF INK ARE LEAKING ALL OVER THE INSIDE OF THE PRINTER, WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS?

Most likely reason is the printer is either a display model, or previously been sold and returned. The toner cartridges are usually sealed and these seals need to be removed prior to use. I would recommend returning to the supplier and asking for a new one, with the toner cartridges sealed. Once toner has been spilt, it is very difficult to remove all traces. A standard vacuum cleaner may be suitable to remove the worst.

Toner Cartage

Really Magicolor 2430DL is a very worst printer in this world.
within 2 months drum cartridge finish - no other printer like this type of option - like black, color & durm cartridge.

I will recommend - not to go for the thirdclass cartridge. go for only HP.

thanks
