SOURCE: HP Officejet 6210 printing blank pages

Hi steve well I suggest that you remove the cartridges and clean the little gold contacts on the carriage and the cartridge. If this doesn't work then install brand new original cartridges as the cartridegs that you have refilled the data ribbon may have been damaged when you refilled them..

Try the above and I hope it works for you
Thanks J

HP LaserJet 3050 All-In-One Printer blank pages after attempting to print second envelope from same document - turning off and back on solves temporarily

If the same fault occurs with different printers it is almost certainly caused by the document.
"...second envelope from same document" suggests you are using a mail-merger. Is that right?
What happens if you start again from scratch? Mke a new document and try to print it a a single entity, without using mail merge?

Prints blank page

Have you checked the print que
Printer problems can be a real hassle.
From time to time, due to document layout or settings on your computer, in your software of choice, or even on your printer, a blank page may get "printed" with the rest of your document.
Fortunately, this issue is a simple one to troubleshoot.
Click "Print Preview" when you are finished with your document and ready to print.
Observe your document.
If you see an extra, blank page, you have created a second page.
To delete the second page, close Print Preview, go back into the document and eliminate any blank lines in your documents that you may not need.
You may also find an inadvertent page break at the end of your document.
Place your cursor on its symbol and delete it.
Locate the symbol by clicking on the Show Formatting paragraph icon in the toolbar.

Circumvent this "ghost page" if you do not see a second (or additional) blank page in Print Preview.

Specify the number of pages you wish to print, within the Print dialogue box.
This is typically done by selecting the "Print From" option, then entering the page numbers desired.
If your document happens to be ten pages (without, of course, that final blank page), then enter in the "Print From" field the numbers "1-10".
This will print only pages 1 through 10, without an eleventh (blank) page.

Printer prints blank pages

This is almost certainly an issue with the toner cartridge. I would recommend running off 30 or so prints and contacting whoever the cartridge was purchased from if the toner doesn't pull through.

Reading no paper paper tray is full

Instructions
  1. Check the display for an error message. If the display reads "Clearing paper from printer," the engine has detected a jam and is attempting to eject the jammed pages automatically. These pages will often be blank.
  2. Check the display for "Performing PRINT/STOP TEST" or "Performing SERVICE TEST." Either of these messages indicates that the printer is going through a test procedure that may eject blank pages.
  3. Reduce the amount of paper in the input tray if the printer is feeding multiple blank sheets at a time. The printer will pull extra pages through if the input tray is overfilled.
  4. Replace the paper in the input tray with the correct size if needed. If the 4600 printer detects the paper as an incorrect size for the print job, it may eject the paper without printing anything on it.
  5. Replace the ink cartridges if certain colors are blank on the page. Replace the black cartridge if printing a black text document that is coming out blank. The printer may attempt to print even if the ink level is low or empty, but will unable to print anything on the page, causing it to come out blank.
  6. Remove the sealing tape from newly installed cartridges. The tape covers the print heads and should be removed before installing the cartridges. If the tape is left on, it will prevent ink from getting on the pages as they print.
  7. Press the "Check mark" button on the control panel to enter the printer menu. Run a diagnostic so the printer can attempt to determine the cause of the blank pages printing. Press the up or down arrow to select "Diagnostics." Press the "Check mark" button. Press the "Down" arrow to highlight "PQ Troubleshooting." Press the "Check mark" button. The printer runs a diagnostic and returns to a ready state when done.

How can it set the printer up so that I have preferences i.e selection or number of copies or certain pages only?

This is done through the print software. Depending upon what program you are using, there may be more than one way to start a print job:

1) Click a print icon within the application - this will usually print with the default settings, (prints entire document, 1 copy)

2) Click the "File" menu, then select "Print..."
This brings up the print job with options for printing, for example number of copies, certain pages, order of printing etc.

WHY IN EVERY PRINT IN BETWEEN THE PAGES ONE BLANK PRINT IS COMING

you don't say what printer or operating system you have so this is a general comment.

Please right click your printer icon in the control panel. Get properties and view the items listed in each tab. I believe you have set something similar to "feed one page for every page printed" or something similar.

Of course, it could be your software ... which you didnt mention what you are actually doing when printing, you may have your application set to insert a blank page after each printed page.

How to fix it? Well if you can't find a setting like I mention, delete the printer from your computer and reinstall the driver. Then, go to the manufacturer (I don't know which because you don't say) and see if there is a updated printer driver available. If there is one from them, get it. Make sure it is for your OS.

Lastly, visit www.pcpitstop.com and have a complete and free scan done of your computer. They will certainly have many tips and recommendations for you based on YOUR configuration. They will want to sell certain services and products ... but the report is both free and of great value to you. Review it.

Prints blank pages

hi jcruisedirec

Test print shows that there is no problem with he printer.
Do this:

Type just one or two words in a new document and try to print. Before printing, look at the print setup and make sure you have the correct printer name selected.
Also when you go to print, there are few options like:

  • Print All
  • Current page
  • Pages
  • Selection
If you attempt to print "selection" without actually selecting a certain portion of the document, you get blank page.
So first check that the correct name of the printer is selected.
Then test printing one page
Hope this will help you. Good luck.
