When i watch a movie or listen to a cd the sound and/or images are choppy. after troubleshooting and dvd/cd cleaners still have the problem. sound and video conent online are fine. inspiron e1505..what gives?
i have inspiron 6400 myself, with vista home edition installed.

spec and review here on e1505 http://blog.miguelovitch.dk/2007/12/18/dell-inspiron-e1505-replace-6400/
I can watch movies both online and 'offline'. DVDs, mpeg, avi, and wmv format and more.
I think you have some problems with your media player or codec.
Are you using xp or vista?
why pay for software?
