If the model number you have this listed under is correct, a replacement tub insulation can be purchased at pcappliancerepair.com for about $38. The part number is W10223014. If the model number is not correct, or if you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

2007 ford explorer sport trac 4.0 v6 all 3 spark plugs on passenger side are coated in oil doesn't smoke 2nd set of plugs in 3 months driver side plugs are fine im tired of guessing anyone know?

comment exactly what you mean when you say --covered in oil
1-- is they covered in oil on the outside around the insulator and wires/ coils
2-- are the center electrodes black with oil and misfiring
if it the outside then replace the rocker cover gasket or if the plugs are recessed into the rocker cover , replace the oil seal under the plug tube in the rocker cover

Hole in wall

The hole was probably put there for a dyrer vent, which is very important to have. They allow heated moisture vapor to be expelled outside and helps keep excess moisture out ot the home. If this is the case, any home improvement outlet will have the stationary wall plates and the outside flap mechanism. The flap shuts when not in use and keeps outside elements out of your dryer......including critters. If your dryer is vented already, just cover the inside of the old hole with a piece of panelling, insulate the hole space, and attach a metal cover over the outside of the hloe. Make sure you seal the outside with caulk or another sealer.

What does air brake do

Are we talking about the air-break (or air-brake) located on top of your sink, where the drain hose of the dishwasher feeds into, or are we talking about the case-brake assembly located on the left-side of your dishwasher? Usually, putting insulation (for sound deadening) around the OUTSIDE of either one should not cause a problem.

I am looking for a umbrella cap to cover my 15 inch attic exhaust fan

Many people just use large black trash bags secured with duct tape or bungi cords. Black bags won't deteriorate as fast as the white ones with the UV rays of the sun and should last one full winter.

If you're concerned about the neighbors complaining about the lack of asthetics....I can't help you.

I never cover attic vents nor recommend them to be covered, because a properly vented attic all year long ensures moisture removal from the attic area and from the insulation. Also if you have shingled roofing, each nail point extending through the sheeting will condense moisture and drip into the insulation in a non vented attic space. This happens many times each winter when the air temp and the moisture content collide on the dew point scale. It does NOT happen daily.

The nails conduct the warmth to the outside, cool down and attract the moisture from the non vented air on their exposed length and slide down to the tip dripping into the insulation. Moisture detracts from the insulations ability to do its job, and that's to insulate the living space from abnormally cold or hot temperatures.

How to replace temperature sensor in Whirlpool water heater

Whrilpool will send information.
Copy following link for resources, including images showing temperature sensor (thermister):
http://waterheatertimer.org/Whirlpool-Energy-Smart-electric.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Whirlpool-energy-smart-part.jpg

Remove cover on outside of tank.
The foam insulation is very stout, and must be cut back to access sensor located above each element.
Insulation must be put back when finished.
After insulation is cut back, it appears you can remove the sensor... I am assuming the wiring can be unplugged, or spliced. It is not possible to replace wires that run between sensor and top of tank because the foam insulation is too tight and wiring is not inside a conduit.

Add a comment and say what you discover.

Raypak 2100 Digital, water temp sensor wires keep burning

It should be insulated around the outside of the fire compartment. If that area is getting that hot it may be a result of "rollout" where the fire gets outside of its normal area chasing the oxygen path. This is a result of a clogged heat exchanger Take the lid off and make sure that the exchanger is clear of debris and the baffles are in good condition. If you see a lot of soot (sometimes deposits are large enough to bridge the copper vanes in the exchanger) It needs to be cleaned. Sooting is an issue mostly attributed to insufficient gas supply. Main culprits are an undersized gas meter, or too small pipe diameter, or too long of a run from the meter.

Storage heater smelling when operating - no spills on / in it

Depending on the age of the heater, the insulation material would be fibre glass and totally inert so will not produce any odour. The fire bricks are also odour free. Check the wiring to the heater for loose connections causing heating of the cable or plastic insulation.

Asko Dishwasher insulating liner (sound or heat? not sure)

This is insulation to retain heat as well as sound dampening. If you are in the south where it is rarely cold you can get by without it save the noise increase. If it gets pretty cool then operation will be severely affected. You can use any insulation method available to you to accomplish the task. Styrofoam, cork, fiberglass. If cost is no object the material for putting in car doors works nicely. I've seen them so insulated you cannot hear them running at all.

Where is the reset button model #wh 7l

I am not familiar with this brand, but have worked on many others and they share common components. Here's my best guess: There should be two metal covers vertically mounted on the outside of the water heater, one about chest high, the other knee high. Behind each cover is a thermostat with a red reset button in the plate. In most cases, there is a white plastic snap on cover over the thermostat and wiring. Caution, the wiring is hot. Each wire will have 110 volts on it, and can electrocute you. Use insulated tools, and press the resets with the insulated tools, not with your fingers.
Best regards, --W/D--
