Question about HP TouchSmart IQ770 PC Desktop
If the computer is new.and any key is not working.then its a faulty internal mini chip below the keyboard.so its advisable to get it replaced as the unit is under warranty.so nothing to worry.it happens to many users.sometimes the parts comes bit faulty.and company get it easily replaced. ------------- thanks.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keep updated.

You must first go to inthe BIOS to make sure the first, second and third
boot device is set to cdrom. Make a note of the settings, you will need to return to them at point 9!
Once you see a prompt that says press
any key to contintue to boot to cd press the Enter Key Once
you have a prompt that says welcome to windows press R to Repair
press F3 to quit and press Enter to create a fresh new copy of
windows. Press R
You will see a dos prompt
cd c:\windows\repair, <Press Enter>
del c:\windows\system32\system, <Press Enter>
c:\windows\repair> copy system c:\windows\system32\system, <Press
Type Exit 9. Restart the computer
