I think you ether missed a wire or miss placed a wire and have a short or no connection where you need one recheck all wiring on starter make sure there is no lose wires
or heavy machinery cars etc. luckily there are many websites
that can help you repair

sounds like you may have a bad switch. sometimes switches stay permanently open. if that is the case, the switch needs to be replaced. if you have a multimeter ;you can check the switches to see if they are open or not. if it reads less than mega ohms, the switch is probably bad.
your remote starter is in valet mode, the door lock will still work but no remote start, try pressing the trunk button 3 times, if that doesn't work turn the ignition switch on and off 5 times
