This is common problem with your ISP maybe they are doing some maintenance, can you contact them please, and check with them to to refresh your net ports. After this do as you did before, connect to your problematic router, and everything should work charming ^^ :)

Wers my wep key, need 2 getmy ps3 onlineagen and forgotten the code, thanks, if u can not help is there a number i can call?

If you have a working Windows wireless machine, you can extract the key from the Windows machine and use it on your other devices.
Download this:
and then run it.

You can learn the WEP or WPA key in use which you can then use on other devices.
If there are no other working wireless devices, you will need to log on to your access point and reset the password there. The instructions for that depend on your access point.

Why my d-link wireless limited access all user who want to conecting my network..including my.eventhough i have a key security?

if you don't have internet on the connection, it will tell all connected that access is limited.
Otherwise they are using the wrong key or encryption. I'd need more information about the wireless to help (key type (wep/wpa) etc.

Wep key how do i find it

The WEP encryption key is in your router's wireless settings. Log into your router and got to the wireless settings, you will need to get the SSID and the WEP key. Then go to your computer/laptop's wireless card and configure it with the router's SSID and WEP key, so it will then connect to the wireless router and the Internet.

To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

I have an old DLink DI-524 router which we haven't used for a few years. We now want to connect our printer to it to create wireless printing but I can't remember the old WEP activation key. Is there a way...

Hi Alibirch,
I got ur issue, to find your WEP key on the router . Open the browser,ie: internet explorer in the comp which is online.

Type in the number in the address bar of the internet explorer.
You will be logged into the Dlink router setup page where u can check the security on the router.

Settings will not save. I am trying to save a security key so my network will be secured but the settings will not save.

are you getting any errors?
if not try pressing the pinhole reset on your router usin a small pin or paperclip to reset the router press that reset button for about 5-7 seconds then let go, wait for a couple of second for the modem to reset then go back in and try putting in your security key make sure you do this connected to the router via ethernet cable ^_^ before going wireless.

security keys work depend on the operating system on XP WEP will do, in vista WEP and WPA, in Win7 WPA2 personal.

Cant find wep key on site

On most routers a randomly-generated WEP Key is the default that it gives you when you first use the modem. It will usually allow you to write it down. You can't really find it on D-Link's website or the Router's site that is a part of your network. You can probably reset the router. Once that happens, you'll be prompted to write down the modem's WEP during the modem's setup on your computer. Here is the guide to this router. You can give D-Link a call at: 1.888.814.2882 from 6AM to 10PM. Good Luck!

Lost code

Hello, You should be able to reset the router to default. Look for a reset hole on the back. This will set the SSID, WEP and WPA off. ID and Password would be set to "admin". You can then turn WEP back on and set a new PSK. Hope this helps.
