You will not find a manual for that telescope. However Meade might have one similar to your telescope that you can use.

Look under REFRACTOR

I was given an outdoor plus telescope model no 70060 700mm x 60mm with no instructions so where can i get instructions?

Sorry no instruction for that exact telescope-- However you can find instructions for a similar 60mm refractor telescope on the Meade web site-- they all work in a similar fashion.

Look under the REFRACTOR heading for one that is similar to your telescope.

My scope on my telescope is seeing everything upside dow, is it supposed to do that? If not please tell me how to set it up. thek you

ALL astronomical telescopes show upside down images. It is completely normal.

For terrestrial viewing you can buy an erecting diagonal to flip the image over. Like this one:

I need to know the price on this telescope

They sell for $40- $70 at garage sales and on craigslist.com

Please do not buy this telescope. first it is only 60mm, a pair of 10x50mm binoculars are almost the same aperture, and the binoculars would be better for Astronomy.

Second, the scope is on a shaky tripod and also has a shaky weak mount which will make it difficult to point.

Missing eyepiece for D=60mm, F=700mm. Lot #626-1005. No brand name on unit, made in Japan, wood legs.

Measure the hole in the telescope.

Eyepieces come in .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes.

The hole is either .965 or 1.25 inch most likely.

Many on-line retailers sell eyepieces. Here are two:

Tasco 9T 234 x Astronomical telescope

That is a 60mm refractor style telescope on an equitorial mount. Meade has one that is very similar. They all go together in a similar fashion.

Look under REFRACTOR and download a Meade manual that is similar to your telescope.

http://www.meade.com/manuals/m285/index.html This one looks very similar.
