Question about Televison & Video
After turning dvd off at the mains and then switching it back on I have not been able to access the dvd in any way. It appears to have locked itself out, and only a blank clock and a flashing red clock are visible. I have tried the solutions in the manual but to no avail. Please help???
If the solutions in the manual didn't solve anything...I am afraid that you will need to get it serviced. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Tips for a great answer:
Jan 22, 2018 | LG Televison & Video

Check that C1801 is not leaky. If so, check if IC1801 has blown. If it has blown, it will also need to be replaced.
Usually it's only C1801 leaky, replace it and thats it.
You can find the capacitor on the main board, under the digital board that has ribbon cables going to the dvd drive.
Hope this helps.
