Suddenly can't type in keyboard. Desktop computer. Brand new batteries. Must fix soon. Help!

I would take the batteries back out and put them back in. You may have put the batteries in the wrong way. Another thing you can do is to unplug the dongle that came with the keyboard and mouse. You can wait a few seconds and plug it back in. The batteries you are installing may be bad. Try installing another set of alkaline batteries. Try rebooting your computer, see if that helps. Your wireless keyboard and mouse may be going out. You can find new wireless keyboards and mice at Walmart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Etc.

Wireless keyboard quit working all of a sudden. Changed batteries, rebooted still won't work. Wireless mouse still works.

DId you receive any drivers to use with the keyboard? If you did, try reinstalling them. If you dont have them, search google for the model of the keyboard you have, and try to download them and install them.
If it doesnt work, the best thing to do is to call the customer service from where you bought your keyboard. They just stop working sometimes for no reason. If you still have warranty, they probably will give you a new keyboard.

Hot keys alerts won't appear on screen like they used to. The Fn key does work, but it suddenly doesn't show me on the screen that it is working.

You may need to re-install the keyboard drive.

If a new keyboard is requested, you can go to the website: www.battery-adapter.com/

No software to activate my MIKOMI Keyboard

These are general instructions but all keyboards are basically the same installing them.

If it's wired just plug it in and reboot. The system will find the keyboard and load the right drivers.

Do exactly the same with a wireless keyboard. plug the receiver into the computer and then reboot.

But first of all install all the batteries in the keyboard and the receiver if they require them.

Then somewhere on the keyboard [usually underneath it] you will find a reset or tune button. Press that and then the retune button on the receiver. Then reboot so it finds the keyboard.

After doing all that,
It will then probably ask you to reboot after installing the software.

In theory it should now all work!

if it doesnt work

just add keyboard as a normal plug and play device windows will install HID drivers and they will work perfectly

if none of them work try to get a adapter so you dont need to use usb if you are using desktop computer

Keyboard has stopped working. have replaced batteries, tried to reconnect wireless channel and still nothing. I then rebooted and still nothing. Is is time to give up? Also, a side note the keyboard...

I have had the same problems on an XP configuration. You need to completely uninstall the Logitech drivers and first connect a wired keyboard.
Then reboot and follow the installation instructions for the Logitech keyboard/mouse combi. This probably means running the installer and then connecting the USB device.
It can actually take a few reboots before everything works, very annoying stuff.

Wireless mouse and keyboard issues

If you have both sets of keyboard and mouse plugged in, turn off the computer and remove the old mouse and plug in the new mouse. Reboot and if necessary use the keyboard to login. Once windows is loaded let it detect the new mouse and then shut down again. Take out the old keyboard and reboot. You should now be able to use both new pieces without problems.

Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard installation

You probably already done this but try pressing the receiver button and while it is flashing turn the board over and press the small reset/connect button on the bottom of the board and also the reset/connect button on the bottom of the mouse. It should work okay after that. here is hoping that helps. Bud
