Question about Lexmark E238 Laser Printer
I had to upgrade to Windows 2000. Prior to this my Lexmark E238 worked fine. No problems with printing. I reinstalled my lexmark after upgrade and used the installation cd that came with my printer. Since the upgrade any time I try to print in Wordperfect 8, my text comes out like programing language. There is one line of text at the top of the page and it keeps printing page after page until I unplug it. There is no other way to stop it.
This does not happen in Word. I can print a document with different extension on it - ie. - *.rtf, or *.doc just with *.wpd and any document which I have not yet saved. I went to Lexmark and downloaded new drivers but still can not resolve it.
Can anyone help
Thank you in advance
Check that WP is using the same driver and the printer is called exactly the same as it is for Word.
Make sure that the port assignments etc are the same and that you install all printers via Windows, not in a program.
