Question about Cameras

1 Answer

I have a DXG-308 camera. I had over 200 pictures on a memory card that was in it. My husband pressed the "default" in the process of trying to change settings and the pictures seem to be all gone. Is there anyway to get them back?

I have pictures on my camera that I want transferred to my laptop...I do not have the disc to download it. What do I do?

If the pics are on a memory card, just get a card reader to download them. It's faster and easier than the camera anyway.

We need the drivers to down load to our pc. do you know where we can get them DXG-308 camera

You don't need a driver.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as iPhoto and Windows Photo Gallery.

Apex Battery offers two DXG-308 chargers

laptoptraveler.com has a charger they say is compatible with the DXG-308

You can bypass the need for a USB cable with a card reader. That also saves wear on your camera.

Search Amazon.com for "card reader" and choose one compatible with your memory card

Camera displays a hand with a lock image and doesn't allow pictures to be taken.........How do you unlock the process in order to take pictures? Thank you

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Move pictures saved in camera to card

Best thing to do is upload them to your computer. The camera does not allow you to move from camera memory to card.
