How to open to access the sim card

1. Open the SIM access door (located on the left edge). Utilizing the notch underneath door, lift then rotate the door cover.
2. With the gold contacts facing down, insert the card (notched-end first) into the SIM card slot. Press in on the card until it locks into place.
3. Align the cover and gently press it into place.

Depending on the model, and manufacturer the SIM is generally located under the battery.

To access the battery, open the back panel, take out the battery. You will see a silver metal shaped sim card cover, lift/slide it and place your sim card.

Be sure to read your phone manual as this always shows how to insert the sim.

i have some tips on how to install sim card on your cellphone:

Install SIM card
1. Make sure that the cover of the connector
panel is closed.
2. Slide the phone open.
3. Open the SIM card compartment (1) on
the back of the slide
4. Slide the metal SIM card holder towards
the compartment lid to release it (2).
5. Open the SIM card holder.
6. Insert the SIM card in the holder as shown (cut corner at
the upper right).
7. Close the SIM card holder, and press it down slightly.
8. To lock the SIM card holder, slide it away from the
compartment lid (1).
9. Close the SIM card compartment (2).

The sim card is inside the battery compartment, so to access and remove/re-seat the sim card, you'll need to remove the back cover. Please open THIS Document, scroll to page No. 12 and follow the instructions. I've tried to download and split the pages for your so that you may be able to read only the necessary instructions, but I am not very sure I was unable to download it successfully.

Remove the memory card
Important: Do not remove the memory card during an

1. If the device is switched on, before you remove the card, press the
power key, and select Remove memory card.
2. When Remove memory card? Some applications will be
closed. is displayed, select Yes.
3. When Remove memory card and press 'OK' is displayed, open the
cover of the memory card slot.
4. Press the memory card to release it from the slot.
5. 28 Pull out the memory card. If the device is switched on, select OK.

The SIM card door is covered by a rubber casing that peels back. Pull back the rubber flap to access the SIM card door. The flap that needs to be pulled back is the top left corner of the Sidekick above the Menu key.

Insert the SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing up and the cut corner facing out. When you release the SIM card, make sure it is locked into position behind the catch so it does not spring out. Replace the bumper, and then turn on the device.
