1. Look and find the pulley tensioner of your
washer, and loosen it up. This is a bolt holding
the motor base, and allow the base to move and
loosen the belt or tighten it.
2. When it is loose, you just put the belt back on the
big pulley track and then, on the small pulley.
3. Full the tensioner back in place to tighten the belt.
Just follow this instruction, and solve your problem.

My crakshaft will not turn after doing a water pump

I personally do not know the model but due to my experience I might help. If the water pump is in the timing belt area, means that you removed the timing belt. Did you put the timing belt in the correct position or you just fit it back on? If you just put it back on surely you are out of timing and might Piston is touching the Valve.Don't try to start it ,Just call an expert to help.

I have a Toro Self-pace model 20073 mower purchased in June 2007. The self pace was always excellent until recently when it became a lot harder to push. When I lift the deck and push on the spring the...

Here's the deal from what you've written as best I can tell. I don't know about the grease once a year, but if you DO take them bolts out (which you don't need to do, BTW), you won't spill "Guts" all over the place; you'll find one gear in there with grease on it. Feel free to wipe it clean and put some new grease on it; not too much but make sure it's covered). Your "REAL" problem is probably your belt needs replacing. That gear box is rocked back and forth by pressure from the belt and if your mower is slacking, then it's not getting enough tension to drive the wheels and simply needs a new belt (it's slipping, dude). They can be a puzzle to get off, but you must take the belt off and match it up at a shop or get the number off it or better yet; that trusty ol' owner's manual should tell you what belt to buy. I'll bet you can replace that belt and be back in business. That gear grease is probably fine, as it has no place to go. You may wanna take them four bolts out and just re-smear it all over the gears tho; can't hurt. Don't wipe your fingers on your pants either. The wife will kick yera$$.

My tiller needs belts, and I don't know how they

Assuming you have not already removed them make yourself a detailed sketch of how the belts are routed (your owner's manual should also show how how they go back on). Remove any guards or retainers (that keeps the belts from jumping off the pulleys) and put the new belts on just like the old ones. Reinstall any guards or retainers you removed. I know this may look complicated but if you take your time and figure out which belt does what it is not all that difficult. Hope this helps.

Which direction does the timing belt installs?

You know, I replaced alot of these and seen that on the directions. And yet they do not put a mark on the new belt. I have looked these things over and found know way to tell. So I just put them on. I have never had one come back. May I also recommend that since your already in there, that you replace all the timing components and the water pump too, if it's in there. You don' want to go back in a couple of months from now.

These **** are on drugs why the **** would I tell them how to do it something when doing that is my bread and butter. Didn't go to trade school for 4 years to tell other **** how to do it. & THIS TRADE IS THE HARDEST TRADE NEVER STOP LEARNING NO MECHANIC KNOWS EVERYTHING AND WAY UNDERPAID.
