Check compression with a gauge bet its under 100. if so check piston and rings, Most of the time you can just hone cylinder and replace rings.

Have a makita gas cut-off saw dpc7321,has spark to the plug but will not start,it is getting plenty of gas too

Is the gas fresh? Is the plug wet with fuel after you try and start it? Have you done a compression test on the engine?

I replaced fuel line from carb to intake and now it wont start?

Check the carb fuel stub to see if its seated in the hose. Chech to see if you re-installed the piston underside scavenge hose to the bottom stub of the carb. Check your compression. New is 160 psi, operational but problematic (hard start) 130~140 and completely toast at 90. This saw is easy to flood when compression has fallen off. Cold start, 3 pulls choke on with the throttle trigger locked wide open. At first sputter, put choke in normal run and it should fire by the 3rd pull. If not its flooded. Then remove the plug and with an air hose vacate the cylinder of fuel for a few minutes and try again without the choke or throttle lock set at wide open.

Good luck.

Car wont start. its firing and fuel is at the fuel rail havent checked the presure though.

If it's getting fire & fuel only thing left would be timing, injector pulse and a compression test.

Miss fire in cylinder 8 . already replaced plugs & wires

is there spark coming out of coil when running? ck compression? and then the fuel injector is next on the list. have a shop that has a tech2 scanner check it, or they they can do a "injector flow test" and see if its opening and flowing when commanded, could be plugged.

2003 chevy malibu wont start

If you have spark, and fuel , and still no start, I'd first pull out the spark plugs and make sure they are not fuel fouled. Dry or replace as necessary. Do you have compression ?

My truck is getting fuel but wont start

Three thing and engine need to crank are fuel fire and compression so if you have the other two then you are losing compression i would suggest running a compression test on it. I hope that helps you out.

Gets gas and spark still won't start

Sounds like this maybe a timing belt has slipped (no Compression) if the engine seems to turn over faster than normal you should or the engine is not getting fuel you can use brake parts cleaner spary in intake and see if it fires up if it does the engine is not getting fuel - possible fuel pump
