Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer

1 Answer

I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washer and it went throught a wash cycle and then stopped before the water drained and there was a strong smell of something over heating. I've check the motor and it seems to be turning freely and there is nothing clogging the water pump. What can I check next.

I have to lean on the top of the washer to get it to go. Is there a switch near the top of the washer that I can replace to solve the problem? How do I get to the switch?

Whirlpool Ultimate Care II keeps taking water.

ck your drain nose/drainline, chances are you have along hose, perhaps even draining along the floor behind hte unit, into a "closed" drain system. in which cawee the wwater is syphoning out during the rinse cycle, youlll needt o raise the drain hose to above 48" and have it drain into a stand pipe to prevent siphoning effect
