Question about Sony VAIO VGC-RB50 PC Desktop
When I turn on the PC the systems states we apologize for the inconvience Windows have not start successfully. Please choose the last known configuration with the following choices : Safe Mode , Safe Mode with network, Safe Mode with command prompts, or start windows normally while it's counting down. well none of the safe modes are working so I start normally. then the system will go to Widows XP screen as if the operating systems is engaging and you can hear the system doing what it's suspose to do then it goes black and stay there ! I the system like for 3 hours to see if it would change any sugeestions , yes I unplugged everything tried hard reboot at 10 times. This sorth of thing happen to my acer lap top when the system locked her out, for not purchasing the upgrade for vista .
Your operating system is corrupted, you need to reinstall your winxp cd in order to repair the corrupted file. in order to prevent the recurrence of this upgrading from vista you need to turn off or select from the automatic updates selection portion. vista has a higher requirements qhen it comes to its memory, video cards and so on and that is the reason why the update did not pursue which eventually corrupted your operating system.
i'm hoping that this will help you
