Just check the usb or ps2 port is working properly,, or else check it with some other PC,, to make sure,, the problem exists in mouse,, or else in your PC usb ps2 ports..

if its wired,, check the usb or ps2 based ports work correctly.. first,, if everything fine,, there may be cause of failed mouse..

first,, make sure your batteries are well connected,, before that,, check the batter points in the mouse,, removing batteries,, they are clean,,, if not clean with a screw driver or blade to rub over the contacts.. thoroughlty.,, then try,,,

My mouse stopped working and its brand new, I have tried pushing both connect buttons to reset it and replaced the batteries. Can someone please help me?

I own this same mouse the best way of going about this is to go to Start>Run>devmgmt.msc. Once this is open find your mouse on the list and try reinstalling the drivers there. If you reset after uninstalling the drivers they will reinstall themselves. If this is not working it could be your OS and you should contract Microsoft.

Microsoft wireless mouse 3000 - all lights are on; flash upon reset, but still doesn't work. Running Vista 64-bit.

Try to take off battery and next push and hold down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed in the mouse, put back battery and simultaneusly release the button,it might make the mouse operate correctly. Good luck!!!! Chawah.

At the back of the mouse, there will be small flushed 'reset' button. Press that. It resets and reconfigures the connection. If it still doesn't work, the mouse has gone bad.

Couldn't find the answer to the right click mouse button not working.

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Thing just won't work.

After starting up the computer with the wireless receiver, keyboard and mouse attached,, (with good batteries in both) install the CD software program and thenif it doesn't work follow these instructions:

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud
