Parrot CK6100 microphone mount

Does anyone know where I can source a replacement mount for a Parrot CK6100 (twin) microphone? It's only a little bit of plastic, but it's gone missing, leaving the microphone dangling above the windscreen!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Wil let me answer the call and i can hear the caller but the caller cant hear me

The wire for the microphone on those are somewhat flimsy so there's a possibility that it has been damaged. This can happen if the wire becomes crimped or pinched. In order to check this you will need access to the brain (bluebox) which should be somewhere inside the dash. You can check this with standard headphones, like from an ipod. Just plug the headphones in where the microphone is normally plugged in and make an phone call. The person on the other end may notice a lesser quality than usual, but if they are able to hear you it's the microphone. Replacement microphones can be purchased from Parrot at their site or occasionally on eBay.

Hope this helps

Unable to connect my iphone 3gs to the Parrot CK3000 Evolution.

You need to reset the Parrot first.

Hold down red and green buttons together until she tells you that the memory is being cleared. Then she will prompt you to pair your phone.

Then, and only then does the Parrot allow the iPhone to pair, and it will bring up the code prompt for you on the iPhone.

You won't find this written down anywhere on the Parrot site.

I have a cect i9+++ buzzing noise

This problem exists actually at all phones of this kind. The microphone replaced to a more sensitive type, but the firmware is not tuned for it. In this case, the electromagnetic field of the flash memory controller near the microphone generate this noise. If you pull out the mic from its case, the noise clams up immediately. This problem could be solved by a new firmware. The voulme of the microphone can not be adjusted through the phone's UI.

Hi ohmytom

Yes, they could be causing the problem. The filaments are a little hard to see sometimes, you will always get a little microphonic activity about preamp tubes. It may also have failing capacitors depending on how old it is. Is it a "Twin Reverb". Let me know the exact model and we can be a little more specific of the problem and solution. Cheers
