I can't do much without knowing more details about what you are experiencing, but below is Bushnell's online Instruction Manual for the Voyager 789946 which I assume would be very closely related to your model.

Another "happy" Bushnell scope buyer. Never by a Tasco or Bushnell telescope. These are considered "toy" telescopes and are usually NOT suitable for Astronomy.

Read my tips on my profile page, or return the telescope to where you bought it.

I have lost my owners manual for my Bushnell 78-9945 telescope. How can I download a free version ?

All of Bushnells manuals are on this web site.

http://www.skywatchertelescope.net/swtinc/distributors.php

Look down the page for your model.

The manual will have assembly instructions BUT WILL NOT help you learn how to the use the telescope to find objects in the sky.

This is a small REFRACTOR style telescope. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope. DO NOT use the small lens that says 2x (barlow) on the side.

Read this web site:
http://www.texasastro.org/telescope.php

so you understand what the different types of telescopes look like when setup correctly. Bushnell has a web site with all of their current manuals here:

Look down the web page and find your telescope and download a manual. Read my TIPS on my profile page.

Not worth repairing-- a new focuser for your telescope would cost as much or more than the telescope-- unless you can find a discarded telescope of the same model..... for parts.

Value of Bushnell Voyager 789440

DO NOT buy any Bushnell, Tasco, Edu Scientific, or Galileo telescope-- these are all toy telescopes. We call them department store telescopes.

Look at this type of telescope as your first one: and you CANNOT buy a useable telescope for less than about $200. It's on craigslist or Ebay because some parent bought it for a child who used it two times and since it was not actually easily useable gave it up.
