I had to remove the two little plastic tabs that prevent you from tightening the filter plud too tight. Grind these two tabs off and you will find youare able to tighten the pluf just a bit more and it will no longer leak.

Unplug the machine. Unscrew the 3 screws under the front edge of the washer. The service technician manual is attached to the panel that slides down and off. Find F21 code. See suggested procedures. Note: My drain pump filter had a baby wash cloth in it along with some change that was disrupting the flow. It is exceptionally easy to remove, clean, and reinstall. Just line up installation notches when reinstalling. Whirlpool should have mentioned this filter in the User & Care Guide, but I could not find it anywhere in there.

Hello. You said that you checked the drain line for obstructions, but did you check the pump? I would remove the hoses from the pump and using a flashlight, look into the suction port on the pump. Check the pump for any obstructions (like the occasional stray sock) and check the pump impellers. Look for broken/missing blades and ensure that the impeller spins freely. If there are missing/broken blades or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. You may have already done this, and if so I apologize. Anyway, hope this helped and best wishes.

SOURCE: Bosch WFF1800 - not spinning

HI,

move the kicking plate on the front-bottom of the machine. You will see o circular lid there, turn it on anti-clockvise to open. All of the water blocked will come from there, be careful. Look carefully that there are some objects blocking the water draining. Then turn on the machine on draining programme, the plastic rotor should turn fastly when the machine is on. If it is not running, change the pump motor. If it is running, but machine is not draining again you can understand that there is an objeck stuck on the hose between drum and pump motor. Lay down the machine on its rear facade, you will see a large and black hose between drum and pump motor. When you remove it, you will see that there is something that blocks water running.

thank you for using fixya, rate my answer,

How do I open the front panel of my Kenmore Elite HE 5t washer? It isn't draining properly, but I've already checked hoses.

To do this, tip the washer back at a 45 degree angle. Remove the 3 screws along the bottom of the lower front panel and pull the lower fornt panel down and off. There is a 3" diameter plastic hand screw cap that you can untwist and remove to clear the drain catch behind it. Once you have it cleared you should be able to drain properly again and if not, unfortunately you'll need to order and replace the drain pump.

How to clean drain pump frigidaire front loading washer gltf2940fs2

Remove the bottom access panel by removing the almost two hidden screws along the bottom. The pump is located on the right. Remove the two hoses and two screw that mount the pump to the base. Clean away. Reattach hoses and screws. TEST unit with panel off to check for leaks. The hoses can be a pain to get on right. Also beware water caught in tub and drain hose will leak out. Bring towels. Lots.

My Asko Dishwasher D1976 on the main panel all of the top lights are on and in the display window it flashes F2. The motor is on but nothing else is happening can you help. I have checked that drains are...

Hi

Error F2 in asko dishwashers indicate high water level. This may happen due to plugged drain pump or due to faulty water inlet valve. To resolve the issue remove the back plate and check the drain pump. Disconnect the hoses from the drain pump and clear the lint from the hose and the pump area. Lot of water would be ther when you'll remove the hose from the pump, be ready to collect it. Let it dry and now the dishwasher will work perfectly now.

Hope it helps...

Water doesn't drain

you could have a bad drain pump.
have you checked the hoses that come from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump for anything that might be stuck in there, also check the hose that comes off the drain pump to the wall and look for an obstruction.

Try to Open the safety compartment using a screwdriver under the wash machine in the front.
Then open the big white knodb this will cause the wate to drain out which is fine.
Then clean this out. Usually you will find coins and stuff here from years of operations from pockets. clear these out and your problem maybe fixed. worked for us

Fault Indication - "Over Flow"

Does manual say to clear drain by running high temp water to clear drain; i dont think so. Now you have to unscrew the back to see where the leak comes from - by pouring plain water into the machine (where u put clothes). Unplug all electrical connections, ie disconnect the machine from the wall socket. Pl post back
