Re: LG WF-T700 Troubleeshooting DE blinking
The "DE" code indicates a door open error. This can be caused by the door not closing all the way (this could be because of bent door/hinges or the door gasket bunching up and not permitting the door to close properly), loose electrical connections at the door switch or powerboard assembly, or the door switch itself is faulty. It can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter and checking for continuity. A lack of continuity would mean a bad switch. Also check the door gasket for "bunching" and you can unplug and reseat electrical connections. These are some areas to look at. Be sure to disconnect unit from power before attempting any repair/troubleshooting. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

This advice is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet model FRONT LOADING washing machines. If you experience a problem where the washer does not drain properly or the drain pump makes excessive noise, here’s the information you need to check the drain pump: Symptom: PUMP IS RUNNING, BUT NOT DRAINING PROPERLY.
Unplug the washer while servicing inside the unit.
Remove the lower kick panel under the door by removing the three 7mm screws under the bottom edge of the panel.HINT: Use a couple of blocks of wood to prop up the front feet of the washer to gain better access to the screws.Once the screws are removed the panel should drop down, and then pull off.If the panel becomes stuck, a slight tap on either side will dislodge it.
Locate the drain pump.It will be located directly under the wash tub (it is the only pump this washer has).
There is an access removal cover on the pump that can be removed to clean out the trap.BEFORE doing this, it is strongly recommended that you remove all residual water from the wash tub & drain line or you will have about a gallon or so inside your washer and on the floor to clean up.
Here’s a helpful way of quickly removing the residual water. If you own a wet/dry shop vac, remove the drain hose from the standpipe at the wall and pull a vacuum with the shop vac. This will empty the wash tub, pump and drain lines. If you don’t own a shop vac, grab a bunch of old towels and open the access on the pump slowly so that it comes out at a trickle.Allow the towels to soak up the majority of the water.Close the access and stop the water if you need to get additional towels.
Open the pump access and remove once you have all the water drained.Check the drain pump for foreign objects and debris.Check the pump impeller and make sure there’s nothing caught in it.Items as small as toothpicks or cotton swabs have been known to stop this pump from working.
Clean out the pump thoroughly and reinstall the access cover.Make sure the cover is snug, but do not over tighten.
Place the drain hose back in the standpipe (IMPORTANT – DO NOT FORGET!).
With the bottom panel still off, plug the washer back in and select the following on the operator console – DRAIN SPIN, NO SPIN, and then press any button under OPTIONS 4 times (it must be the same button).“C00” will show on the console display as the washer begins diagnostics mode.
Check the drain pump for leaks as the washer fills. The pump is gravity filled and will hold water even it is not pumping.Allow washer to run through diagnostics until it begins the wash tub tumble cycle.
At this point, you can stop the diagnostics procedure by pressing PAUSE/CANCEL 2 times. The drain pump energizes and the washer will begin to drain.
If the drain pump works normal and there are no leaks detected, reinstall the bottom panel and tighten screws.
NOTE: It is normal to have residual water left inside the wash tub under the wash basket. This is why it is important to leave the door ajar when not in use so this water does not become sour.
Just to thank you for your help and the web site for my parts. I ordered the convergence parts and received them on the 25th, made the repairs on Thanksgiving day. The picture looks GREAT.
Again Thank You,
PS and saved a lot of money
Your lamp is probably going bad. Is your lamp indicator light blinking? New lamp for this costs around $200. Don't buy a bare bulb to save money. Buy the one with the casing. You pop the old one out, pop the new one in. DO NOT touch the lamp itself.
My wife and I both have Pearl's. I found that the problem on both of
them was caused by Color Pearl, an application that allows you to
change the color of the Pearl's trackball. It was not a problem until
upgrading the Blackberry software to v 4.5. I tried rebooting,
removing the battery, etc. The light always came back on after an
alert. Removing the application ColorPearl did the trick. Just go to Options>Advanced Options>Applications and delete ColorPearl. Hope this helps someone.
Anything too save a penny in today's economy. If you feel ambitious enough to do the pump yourself follow this link for an overview of the process.(Assuming you have the 5.7L motor, if diffrent let me know and I can get the proper guide)
To have someone come to the house to repair you are looking at usually $75 service call plus $100 labor plus parts. If the circuit board needs to replaced it could be up to $200 to $300 for the board if it is still available, sony is going flat panel these days and parts for your set are fazing out. If you take it to a shop you will save money on pickup and delivery and make it easier for the tech to diagnose which should save you money.
Maybe there is a problem with eigther the vertical or horizontal circuitry of your unit. blinking lights indicate a problem associated with your flyback not being able to oscillate and distribute the supply for the tuner, audio, vertical...etc..
That is an internal problem pls refer to a qualified technician.
