Question about Datamax M-4208 Thermal Label Printer

Datamax problem Hello I have problem with printing of labels on datamax 4208. I have 2 DataMax 4208. On old on all labels are printed correctly but then I try to print the same label on newer printer data on right site of label arn't printed ( are cutted) I rewrited configuration from old one to new and nothing Could you help me to solve the problem ?

    my 4208 will not print until you push the feed button. it will give you a blank label then the printed one. how do i fix this?

    When trying to print config, printer just beeps and restarts. Nothing is printed

You probably need to adjust the leveling cam if you have not done so already. This is the green thumbscrew near the print mechanism.

Sometimes it's simply the Internet Browser settings. Go to File, then Page Setup and change the margins to 0.1 and all footers and headers to Blank or Empty.

Datamax M-4208 label printer is not printing. It is showing paused status

probably a bad or very dirty sensor - use compressed air to blow out the sensors (look in the user manual to locate the sensors)

Datamax I 4208 prints slow when set to landscape

try using a seagull sceintific driver.
also if you are sending graphics (barcode) instead of an actual barcode decoded font, the printer will process as a graphic.
If serial, speed up to max, if parallel it should print quite fast

If you use ms-access you must have installed the windows driver, therefore you must enable the cutter in the printer properties. Position fault is that it does not detect the label, must be press the FEED key or to calibrate, press the FEED key for 5 seconds to calibrate the sensor label.
