I need to know how many teeth the DV in socket

I need to know how many teeth the DV in socket takes on the front of the LG RH4820 so that I can record onto DVD, footage taken on my mini dv sony camcorder. I have tried using the A/V connections, but all I get recorded into the DVD is sound, no picture. I know the camcorder DV socket has 4 teeth as it is an i- link connection. I have trawled the manual and the internet and cannot find this small piece of information anywhere. Thanks, Dave
