You will need to reinstall the OS. this time around when you need to enter the key, insert the one provided on the sticker. If the key has been activated too many times then generate the 25 digit code and call Microsoft helpline from the no. provided against each country.
If you dont have the key then proceed with installation.

I received the following message on my Laptop: "windows cannot configure this wireless connection", what can I do?

It sounds like your wifi device is configured by its own application. Look in your task bar (lower right corner of screen normally) for a wifi icon (ascending sound bars?) and right click on it for options. When you get into the configuration program, there is usually an option to select "Windows Zero Configuration" or "Let Windows handle this device" or something similar. Select this option and then try to access your local networks as usual by right clicking on the Windows network box. You MAY have to refresh the screen.

Good Luck.

Missing tool bar when I uploaded to Explorer 7. I cant click on tools to get it back because I dont have a tool bar to acces

Try to uninstall IE7. Once it's removed, restart your computer then it will revert back to the older version IE6. After that you can opt to install IE7 again or much better a newer version like 8 or 9.

To uninstall IE7, kindly follow these steps:
  1. Close all programs.
  2. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Uninstall a Program under the Programs category
  4. In the Tasks pane, click View installed updates.
  5. In the list of installed updates, double-click Windows Internet Explorer 7. In the Uninstall an update dialog box, click Yes.

Note If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
  6. Follow the instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 7.
  7. When the uninstall program is finished, restart your computer.
  8. After you restart your computer, open Internet Explorer. Click Help>About Internet Explorer and check if it's on version 6. If it is then proceed with upgrading to a higher version again.

    Hope this helps.

I have an acer aspire 5742 laptop how do i turn my webcam on

Hi, Webcams are a great way to communicate with friends and family in other places, while still feeling like they're in the room with you. There are many different types of webcams and many different computers to go with them. So, if you happen to be a new Acer Aspire 1 owner, then follow this simple guide, and you'll be sending video of yourself to friends and family in no time Instructions
  1. Access the main menu of your Aspire 1, and click on the "Start" menu at the bottom of the screen

  2. Click on "All Programs" from the list of options, and then select "Acer Arcade Delux."

  3. Choose the "DV Wizard" option once the menu appears. Wait for the program to load.

  4. Select "Acer Crystal Eye Webcam" from the main menu of DV Wizard. Now an image capture screen will appear on your desktop.

  5. Position the Acer so you are framed clearly in the image capture screen. The webcam is built into the computer with the lens at the top of the screen, so you will have to move the entire laptop to find the right angle. Also, adjust the lighting near you for optimum picture quality.

  6. Go to the tool bar in the lower left hand corner of the computer screen to access the functions of the webcam. If you would like to record, highlight the box icon with the red dot in the middle and the word "Record" will appear over it.

  7. Click the "Record" icon to record video with the webcam. You can also choose "Pause" and "Stop" from the same tool bar. To use video messaging, access your online messenger. Whether it's AOL, MSN or any other messenger service, the program will detect the webcam. All you need to do is enable the video messaging by clicking on the webcam box.
