Question about Technics SC-EH780 CD Shelf System
When I am listening to anything with heavy bass my CD keeps jumping. Surely it shouldn't jump that bad. I have tried brand new cds so it has nothing to do with scratches. It has been like this since day one .
The problem is not with the CDs, but with the laser pick up unit of your player. Cleaning the pick up unit is simple but I advise you not to venture that unless you are sure how to do it without damaging it, most probably this will fix the problem, if not you will have to change the pick up unit. If you are a techie, try adjusting the trimpot found on the pick up unit just a bit before changing the pick up unit.
