First of all, it's not a good idea to leave that many pictures on a card for any length of time...they may get corrupted. Download to your computer more often. As for your present problem, take the card to a store that has a Kodak picture maker machine (like Walmart). Usually, all the pictures will show up ok and you can print them or even make a cd of them.

Do you really need to connect your camera to your computer?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

The camera will not turn on.

Have you inserted the batteries in the correct sequence?

Has the camera seen minimal use (storage), or do you use it ... like once a week or so.

Hello, our camera's battery goes dead very quickly. Is there any reason that they do? when we first got the camera it would last alot longer. Now they don't last for a day or two. thanks

How old is the battery? Have you been using and charging it regularly or do you let it sit around and completely discharge over and over? This will bring a battery to an early death.
