Question about Computers & Internet
My router used to work perfectly for a while. I don't know what happened, but one day it just wouldn't send out a wireless signal so I can't connect to the internet from my laptop. In order to connect to the internet on my laptop, I actually have to bring it to the room where the router is and take one of the cords out of the LAN port and plug it into the laptop. So, the router itself still works, it just won't send out a signal. There are a couple of lights on the front of the router that are flashing that wouldn't normally flash if it was working properly. Can anyone help?
Try turning off the power to the router for 30 secs and then power it up again.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The radios used for WiFi communication are very similar to the radios used for walkie-talkies, cell phones and other devices.
you need to connect your desktop to the router via RG45 ethernet cable.
