If a dryer is not working at all that's not good! But it doesn't mean you need to go appliance shopping just yet. It may be something very simple like a bad door switch or even a broken door switch actuator, in a kenmore dryer there is a tab thats sticks out of a hole in the wall that allows the dryer to run only if the door is shut, other models may have button that protrudes out of the dryer and when the door is shut, this allows the dryer to run. These switches go out from time to time, also if a dryer is full of lint build-up over time this will cause the dryer high limit or fuse to blow. The fuse is located near where the blower is in most cases. When the air in the dryer gets way too hot the fuse/hi-limit will blow and the house wont burn down.

My new amana dryer died and the repair people said there was moisture in their which must of come from the dryer vent and blew it. I had the dryer vent and builders of the building inspect the vent system...

Is the vent connected to another dryer as well? I've seen this before. Builders will sometimes put in a vent and have 2 dryer venting into it. The second dryer will send moisture into the first one and vice versa. Also, check for baffles on the outside vent. If cool air is coming into that vent then it will cause condensation in your dryer.

Water is coming out from under the dryer while drying clothes.

only one place water can come from a dryer area and that is if your vent duct comes out top of house or vent housing is pointed up and they catch water if it rains hard ,,, i would check my water for leaks or if you have a hot water tank close check it too ,,, water may be coming from washer and flowing down hill to under dryer and then running out ,,,, your dryer isn't leaking water i bet / larry
