Question about GE GSS25SGMBS Side by Side Refrigerator
I believe your condensate defrost drain is either blocked or frozen over behind the rear panel of your freezer. There are many reasons for this happening for example water leaking from a water supply line for the dispenser or ice maker, a crack in the defrost pan, water leaking inside and draining through the refrigerator cabinet, but most are caused by a defrost drain line blockage. Below is a link that may be helpful so try to take it all in and use the parts that most refer to your specific problem, there is also a short movie that makes the repair look easy, Thanks Sea Breeze

Hello Michelle Driscoll, thank you for your post!
I see that you're describing that the ice is coming out as a big block and your dispenser is leaking on your Frigidaire refrigerator. I would turn down the temperature on the inside of your freezer to see if that would help create blocks. If that is not successful it could be an issue with an air leak causing heat to come into your freezer I would recommend checking the gasket which can be done by using a dollar bill. Place the bill between the body of the freezer and close the door. Pull the dollar out, if it sticks the seal is good, but if the bill comes out easily the gasket needs to be changed.
If your appliance continues to create an ice block or leak water I would suggest contacting a professional to come out to your home to diagnose your appliance. I hope this is helpful information. -Matt

Hello nott225 - The issue sounds like it might be related to the temperature in the freezer. What is it set to? Make sure that the temperature is approximately around 8 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. If the freezer is too warm, the ice maker won't cycle properly. If it is properly set, then consult a professional to accurately pinpoint any potentially more serious issues like a faulty ice maker valve or even the ice maker itself.
