power button lights up on the front but no joy with the scanner, it doesn't initialise at all. Could it be the bulb or does it sound more serious?
Also If it sounds serious are the parts available to fix it?

I have the same problem.

My new FI-5530C does not initialise it always shows the letter P,Sometimes when it starts it shows the message error " the aad door is opened" wich is not true!!!
