My 50" ps50b451b2w Samsung has just had a new main

Clicking sounds like a bad power board. There are small relays on power boards that would make a clicking noise.

I don't know why a main board would have been replaced for that, as I don't know of any main boards with relays or anything that would cause a clicking noise on them.

Heater blower goes on an smells like gas and doesn't light

The ignitor is not working. I don't know what kind of ignition your heater has but it is either a thermal ignitor or a spark ignitor. In either case the problem could be in the ignitor or the board that supplies the power to the ignotor.

First of all, be careful while looking into the system when the gas comes on because it could unexpectedly ignite and burn you.

If your unit contains an ignitor it should glow brightly when the gas starts. If it is glowing then it is probably not glowing brightly enough or not in the right place and therefore needs to be either replaced or repositioned. If it is not glowing then you should measure the voltage using a volt/ohm meter going to the ignitor. If it reads about 115 then the ignitor is broken and needs to be replaced. If it reads much lower voltage then the board that supplies power to it probably has a problem on it. It may be a defective relay, bad solder joint or some other problem. I would first re-solder the relay connections to the board and see if that fixes it. Otherwise the board will need to be replaced.

If the unit has a spark ignitor and you hear a spark sound it may be too low power or the spark probe might be in the wrong place and therefore not delivering the spark to the fuel air mixture. If you don't hear the spark then you may have a bad relay or bad solder joint to it.

Please let me know how this works out. Thank you.

Relay for compressor on controller circuit board arced and came off the circuit board. Is this a common problem or does this sound like the compressor is locked up?

Don't know what unit you have, but it sounds like a faulty circ. bd. Have you had the circ. bd replaced already and it keeps burning out? If so, you may have a compressor problem.

Need info on component 3071 on power supply board - burned up.

Its been a while since i worked on that power board. But I believe you are refering to the orange diode that runs into the single connector for the video board next to the power supply. I replaced mine with a 1n914 diode after replacing the 2200uf lytic cap and the tv fired right up.

Power supply not working

Hello my friend, if one of your power supply's part is burned, your power supply won't work else if its work i has a short time to operate and it will be burned the whole board of your supply. Mainly the reason of burning your supply are the following: 1. The Electric supply  from the source is to high or above the limitation of your Power supply. 2. Your power supply is over capacity. 3. You're power supply board develop a liquid moisture inside that is why it shorted and eventually the board is burned.  4. The load of your power supply is overload due to some device you attach that is beyond to the limit of your power supply's wattage capacity.
Note: try to see the wattage or voltage or the capacity of your power supply can supply the electricity within your computer system. To ensure that it does not exceed the limit of your power supply's limitation.  I therefore reccomend that to avoid burning the entire power supply board from short circuit, it is recommended to replace your power supply to avoid incidents may arise.
Hope this advice helps your problem. If you need more assistance just reply to this post.  If this solution or recommendation is able to solve or help your problem then please rate it.  Thanks
