SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to use the set command as a substitute for the choice command in W2K an XP

The choice command from Win95 can't be used in WinXP or W2K you need to use the SET CHOICE = and the IF'%CHOICE%'== command here is the same example for Win95 example with the CHOICE and ERRORLEVEL commands.

Example One: (Win95)

In the below example a user would be prompted to enter an option of y,n, or Q to print you have selected YES , NO, or QUIT.

@ECHO OFF
:BEGIN
CLS
CHOICE /N /C:ynQ Select (y,n or Q)? %1
IF ERRORLEVEL ==3 GOTO QUIT
IF ERRORLEVEL ==2 GOTO NO
IF ERRORLEVEL ==1 GOTO YES
GOTO END
:QUIT
ECHO YOU HAVE PRESSED QUIT
GOTO END
:NO
ECHO YOU HAVE PRESSED NO
GOTO END
:YES
ECHO YOU HAVE PRESSED YES
:END

To add more choices increase the errorlevel number and append to the ynQ on the choice command

Example 2: (WinXP and W2K)

In the below example a user would be prompted to enter an option of y,n, or Q to print you have selected YES , NO, or QUIT.

@echo off
cls
:start
echo.
set choice=
set /p choice=Type (y,n or Q)?
if not '%choice%'=='' set choice=%choice:~0,1%
if '%choice%'=='y' goto yes
if '%choice%'=='n' goto no
if '%choice%'=='Q' goto quit
echo "%choice%" is not valid please try again
echo.
goto start
:yes
echo you have selected YES
goto end
:no
echo you have selected NO
goto end
:quit
echo you have selected QUIT
goto end
:end

To add more options simply add another if '%choice%'== goto line and give it a name and add the colon to the front of the name.

Hope this helps took me a whole night to work it out for Windows XP I like the way it works its much easier to understand when you don't have to use the ERRORLEVEL.

N.B> I have used 3 options Y,N or Q you don't have to and the choice I have kept simple you can copy this code and add your own replace the (you have selected YES) with whatever you require to happen if the user presses Y.

Error: Invalid

You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot features. Press "2ND" "STAT PLOT" and then select 4:PlotsOff.

How should I set my ti 83 plus for my statistics course? I keep trying to sort L1 in ascending order and every time I get ERR: INVALID DIM 1: QUIT ...

If some of the lists are missing press the STAT button then select SetUpEditor and ENTER to restore all of them (without data, of course.)
If the statistical plots are turned OFF you can turn one of them back ON again. Press SHIFT Y1= to access STAT PLOTS. Press 4:Plots Off. A good habit to avoid problems. After you turn all plots OFF, you must turn one of them ON if you intend to draw statistical graphs. You can for example Turn Plot1 ON.
  1. To do so Press SHIFT Y1=, select say 1:Plot 1 ENTER.
  2. Highlight ON and press ENTER.
  3. Press DownArrow to move to line TYPE
  4. Then you can set the plot type. You have 6 choices. Use the left/Right arrows to select one of the 6. The selected plot type icon will remain highlighted when cursor is moved.
  5. Use DownArrow to move to XLIST line and select the x-values LIST. etc.
  6. When finished Press 2nd QUIT to exit the stat plts configuration settings.
One statistical value that may be of interest to you is the R, R^2 coefficients. To have it displayed (if the regression model has it), you must set DiagnosticsON.

Press SHIFT 0 to enter catalog. Press x^-1 key to jump to the first command that starts with D.
Scroll down to reach DiagnosticsON, highlight it and press ENTER then ENTER.

When i push the intercom then message button to retrieve messages it tells me invalid across the screen

while the handset is hung up (without pressing the intercom button) press the "MESSAGE" button, on the display it should show ~why~ the message light is on (cause it is possible someone tried to intercom you, then hit the wrong button) after that you can turn off your light by pressing:
1) INTERCOM
2) 700
3) *your extension #*

it is possible that the extension that turned on your message light is no longer in service, making it an invalid extension

I transferred a program into the calculator using the TI Connect software but when i go to the program in the calculator it says "undefined." I tried transferring the program from another calculator to...

Hi,
A program, or an Application are both programs, but the former will be accessed through the program manager [PRGM] and the latter through application manager .[APPS] .If it is a program (in the context of the TI84Plus) you press [PRGM]. You see three menus [Exec [Edit] [New]. If there are any programs in the calculator, you should see them under [Exec] and under [Edit].

A. To RUN a program
  1. To run a program already in calculator, you select its name under the [EXEC] menu and press [ENTER]. If you get an error message "undefined" it is most certainly due a variable or parameter used in the program without its being defined first.
  2. This is programming error that must be corrected by editing the program.
  3. Usually you get a QUIT or GOTO in the error message.
  4. Press the number corresponding to GOTO and the cursor will be at the place where the error occurs
  5. If a program is archived (it has an asterisk in front of it name) you cannot run it. It must be unarchived first.
B. To edit a program
  1. To edit a program already in calculator, you select its name under the [EDIT] menu and press [ENTER].
  2. If you are allowed to edit it, you will be able to enter, delete and modify commands.
  3. To do so, you must know the programming language of the TI84Plus.
  4. If a program is archived (it has an asterisk in front of it name) you cannot edit. It must be unarchived first.
Hope it helps.
Thank you for rating this solution.

If you are in the stat mode and entering points in list 1 and list 2, it could be that one list is longer than the other.

If you are just trying to graph from the y= screen, one of your plots is probably turned on. The easiest way to fix this is to press the 2nd button the the plus button, then 7 and then 1 and then 2. This will reset to factory settings.

My Graphing calculator has no x or y axis. Its all Blank.

Press the 2nd Button then the ZOOM button. Make sure that AxesOn is highlighted. If not, move your cursor down until you on AxesOn and press ENTER.

If AxesOn is highlighted, then it is probably your window. Press ZOOM, then 6.
