How do i put music on my blackberry8700?

Since the 8700 doesn't have an external memory card slot the solution above must have been written by a complete ignoramus who tries to get credit without bothering to check facts.

You can use desktop manager but in reality the memory available is so small that it is not practical to use Blackberry 8700 as a music player.

Music and pictures on blackberry 7250

Transferring media files back and forth between your phone and your computer is quite easy if you download the "Blackberry Desktop Manager" software from There is one button on the main screen that will say either "Media" or "Media Manager" when you have the software installed, and will allow you to copy music, songs, files from your computer to the phone or vice-versa. Hint: Always open the BB Desktop Software Manager on your computer first, before connection your phone with a USB cable. Will save you hours of time!

How do i transfer stuff from blackberry curve into the memory card

Open your media manager. Push menu button and select "explore".

Navigate through your device memory until you find the file you want to transfer. Highlight the file, push the menu button and select "move".

Navigate back up the file tree by selecting "up" until you see the memory card folder. Select the memory card folder, and choose the option to "put file here".

Keep in mind, you can not load programs from your memory card. You can only put files there (music, documents, ebooks, etc).

How do i transfer music from pc to bb curve 8300?

You can't put songs that you have bought from apple. You can put songs that you have riped from CD's or downloaded. You need a micro SD card. On the phone go into options: Advance Options, Media Card. Turn mass storage mode on. Now plug your BB into the computer and a little window will open up. open the Blackberry folder then music. Drop and drag your music files into that folder. if your going to use the Desktop software go to google and type: Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.5. This version comes with a media manager. Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

P3400 audio manager dosen't play any mp3 and i can't put any mp3 as aring tone

alternately u can do this

if ur phone is HTC P3450 ELF or HTC3452 ELFIN there are 2 versions of this device then go to start >Programs>fileExplorer>select music file u want to set as ringtone, and then long tap on the file for like 4 sec a menu will appear u can select set as ringtone and ur file will be set it is the std procedure for it

and about that HTC audio manager u can check for updated ROM from >ur region >support and then check if new ROM is availble it i will address ur issues of audio manager

but if u really want a new look for ur PDA and want to make it like touch HD then my friend i will suggest this but at ur own risk but the results are really worth it

see this update to CUSTOM ROM for ur pda and u will get more free memory for programs and storage i know it is a big rpoblem in this pda and u will get new look like touch hd

download Hard SPL 3.1 from here

and then Lite version for ELF from here

first install hard spl 3.1 as directed on ur pda and then update to custom rom from the the file downloaded

Cant transfer music file to my lg ku990 via usb from pc to phone

Instead of loading the music manager, click on file in the LG Suite box, and then click 'content'. This will connect without a problem (at least it did for me, despite music manager not working), and then drag and drop music from your pc files, onto your phone. Hope this helps.
