Do you have a floppy disk or a CD in an appropriate drive or any other device plugged into a USB or Firewire port??????

Most computers look for the OS first on a floppy then on the CD then the hard drive.

If you dont have something in a drive before trhe hard drive, you have a corrupt file in Windows. You will likely have to restore or reload your OS.

What boot device priority was set in BIOS? I mean did it use to boot from hard-drive or any other media? Can your system detect any hard-drive attached? Can you run diagnostics? Please check the device & reinstall OS.
