Question about Euro-Pro Vacuums
I have 3 shark vacuums. One is a shark light weight bagless upright wine colored with a beater bar. Which of course has a broken handle because it was made steel and plastic, of course you should have known that would happen, and I assume that was the whole idea to it so we can keep replacing with new how pathetic. The 2nd is a retractor upright bagless and the one I am having issues with is the bagless stick shark cyclonic model EP600F. But back to Model EP600F, the filter in this vacuum, is made of what looks like fiber glass so that it can catch and trap and hold on to all the fluff. I can tap most of the fine dust out but the fluff just clogs up the filter continuously and it is very maddening.
My other two vacuums have the filters made out of what looks like a smooth hard cardboard and I have absolutley no problem getting the dirt and fluff out of them but the EP600F is insane...It is not possible to get the fluff completely out. I cannot afford to replace it continually, I already have had to do so and will not buy another one that is made of the same material. I will go back to my $6.00 broom which I bought many many years ago and does a good job as well. I need to know where I can get a filter for this model that is made out of the same product that the other two filters are made of. Please let me know asap. Thks.

Most vacuums you either remove the bottom plate, or the top cover comes off. If no screws on the top cover, then turn vac. over and remove the screws on the bottom. Then you should be able to get to the brush roll and belt.

SOURCE: When I sart to run my bagless vacuum, it runs for a second and then shuts off. I replaced the belt and the filter. The repairman told me that on bagless vaccuums, the motor and bearings get clogged w
take the brush roller off and on the ends are the bearing caps.try to take those off and clean the bearings ,carpet strands and hair will cause that.after you do that make sure the roller turns freely if not then the bearings might be bad and if thats the case you might have to order a new brush rollersome bearing caps unscrew and others pull off

The motor has a protective overload cutout device to stop it from over heating - this can be caused by a blockage of some sort in the hose or brushroll compartment or blocked filters.
After checking the above and it still cuts out, take it back under gurantee
