YardWorks 19'' 24V mower not charging

I have a YardWorks 19'' 24V lawn mower which has suddenly died. When I plug in the charger, the indicator light comes on yellow. Normally it should be red, turning to green after charging.
What does the yellow light mean? What can I do?
Please and thank you. Jim.

JIM I HAVE SEEN THIS ISSURE MORE THAN A HANDFULL OF TIMES, THE MAIN PROBLEM IS A LOOSE WIRE TO THE MOTOR HEAD, POP OFF THE COVER AND INSPECT. IF THAT DOES THE TRICK THEN GREAT!!! IF NOT THEN U HAVE INTERNAL MOTOR ISSUES THAT WILL BE COST PROHIBITIVE TO REPAIR.

I have a cc 500 bat push mower the battery charger was leftout on rain the light dont come on for charger is it fried also does it have a plug that i can plug extenstion cord in or do I n

The charger lead should have been connected to a Residual Current Device, or Earth Leakage Breaker that should have flipped the power off. There should be a reset button on the plug.

Charge the mower for 14 hours before initial use. Charge mower indoors in a dry area out of the weather. DO NOT charge in rain or wet locations. IMPORTANT: Use only the battery charger provided with this mower. Plug the battery charger into the battery first, and then into any standard 110/120 volt household electrical outlet. See Fig. 3-9 for B battery charging location. A C NOTE: If an extension cord is required, use one that is at least wire size 16 AWG. Connect the extension cord to charger before plugging extension cord into electrical outlet. NOTE: You may charge the battery with the battery removed from the mower. IMPORTANT: Always recharge battery fully. It takes 14 hours to recharge a completely discharged battery. A flashing light on the battery charger indicates the battery is less than 80 percent charged; a solid green light indicates the battery is 80 to 100 percent charged. A full charge will be achieved in less than 14 hours if the batteries were only partially discharged. NOTE: It is recommended that the mower be charged once every two months during storage. IMPORTANT: Always disconnect battery charger (or extension cord, if used) from the electrical outlet first, then disconnect battery charger from battery. NOTE: It is recommended that the mower be charged immediately after it has been discharged. Storing batteries in a discharged state could reduce future performance. WARNING: The battery contains corrosive fluid and toxic material - HANDLE WITH CARE. Keep away from children. Do not puncture, disassemble, mutilate, or incinerate. Explosive gases could be vented during charging or discharging. Use in a well ventilated area, away from sources of ignition.

Yardworks Battery operated lawn mower flipped over, now won't start. Battery has all green lights.

Some mowers will not start if there is insufficient oil in the crankcase. After the flip, did the machine lose oil? Also, this can flood the mower and possibly cover the plug with oil. Remove the plug, check the fuel and oil. Chech to see if any wire connectors came undone.

How To plug in the battery charger, where on the mower is the connection to plug in the charger?

Hi Guys, There is not normally a plug in for a external battery charger. You take the charger unit as purchased from the supplier and do as follows; 1. Check that the voltage of the charger is the same as the battery to be connected. 2. Check there is water above the plates in the battery. Screw the plug out and shine a torch in to see. WARNING! Never strike a match or have a very hot bulb as the hydrogen from charging can explode!! 3. Connect the Red cable from the charger direct to the + Positive [Red] terminal being careful not to touch any other metal parts as this can cause a short and do much damage. 4. Connect the black [some times blue] cable to the Negative - end of the battery. Still being very careful not to short to the battery cage or machine chassis. Turn the power on and check that the lights are working or that the amp meter is showing a positive charge. Normally a flat battery will need at least over night and often 24 hrs trickle charge.

Lawn tractor wont start

How do you know the battery is fully charged? Simply hooking a battery up to a charger does not ensure that the battery is being charged. The symptoms you mention are indicative of a dead battery.

Could be.Those batteries leak charge even when not in use.I would let it go for 24-48 hours just to be sure.Unless the batteries or charger becomes very hot.
